We are down to the final 8 teams in the Women’s World Cup. (Well, actually 7, with England putting away Norway today). The USA women play France tomorrow, and if you have been paying attention at all, you will know that France was one of the other favorites to win the whole thing. They are an awesome team and the darn thing is in France, so they have home advantage. The match tomorrow is in the Le Parc des Princes, a beautiful soccer stadium in Paris, France.
I am giving away $25 for every USA goal scored, the rest of the way in this year’s World Cup. They have scored 18 goals so far, so these ladies can kick a ball for sure. If they make it to the championship match, that will be 3 games counting tomorrow, so this could be a nice giveaway.
UPDATE 06/28/2019 – USA got past France today, 2-1, so that’s $50 in the prize pool, and probably the biggest hurdle to hoisting the trophy, knock on wood.
Update 7/8/2019 – Congrats to the US Women’s team, winning a record 4th World Cup! With 6 goals scored from the start of the quarterfinals, that means $150 in our prize pool. Drawing tonight!

Well I’m pretty patriotic with this and with our men’s team likely never to win a World Cup while I’m around, I look forward to watching the women’s team!. So of course the US is who I would like to see repeat. If it’s not them though It would be cool to see France do it at home. In terms of betting tips, maybe an upset in the Italy v Holland game, feel like the Italians could pull a shock. Wasn’t impressed with the Netherlands the other night, think Germany makes it through to the final on that side of the bracket!
To be honest I dont watch soccer, I will always root for The USA!! Go Go Go!!!

USA dropped France 2-1 today. Was heartbreaking to see the French lose at home in front of all of their fans, but there can be only one world cup champ, and I want that to be our ladies from the good ol’ US of A.

Well of course USA to win it all! I find it just fascinating watching them play. I was an athlete about a hundred years ago and I was damn good. I watch these women play and I know I would Never have been That good. They are just…wow. I sure hope they win it. As for a betting tip….if there was a bet going on that had anything to do with that goalie from France I’d say get in on it. That lady is so fast, I’m not sure that I ever even saw her move! Yes I want USA to win, but credit where credit’s due and she deserves a “wow did you see that!?” I don’t know any names…Cup is the only time I sit still and watch. Man, what a show! GO USA!!!!
Indeed. These ladies are the best of the best and soccer takes serious athleticism and endurance. The French goalie was hard to beat today, but the USA women were able to get past her!

Our USWNT Gals get it done while dominating the second half! USA USA USA! They now have the record for goals scored in World Cup Competition, edging past France with that 2nd goal in the 2nd half!
